What GHRP-6 is

GHRP-6 is a synthetic hexapeptide growth-hormone secretagogue that binds the ghrelin / growth-hormone-secretagogue receptor, described in the literature as promoting pituitary growth-hormone release and stimulating appetite. It is one of the earliest growth-hormone-releasing peptides characterized. It is not FDA-approved and is handled only as a research chemical.
