What Kisspeptin-10 is

Kisspeptin-10 is the C-terminal decapeptide of the KiSS-1 / metastin protein (residues 45-54) and the shortest fully active kisspeptin fragment. In the research literature it is described as an agonist of the GPR54 (KISS1R) receptor that stimulates hypothalamic GnRH release, a key control point of the reproductive axis. It is a research-use-only peptide, not an approved medicine, and has not been evaluated by the FDA.
